The employee module of your payroll software is where you configure leave credit bulk updates, view employee profiles, and toggle the Geolocation settings. To do each of these actions, follow the steps below:
Leave credit bulk updating.
Updating individual leave credits is a lot of work, especially when you have hundreds of employees. To solve that problem, eezi allows the bulk update of leave credits with these steps:
- From the dashboard, click the employee icon (the first icon) located at the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- It will take you to a new page with a table. At the top of the table, locate the document icon with an arrow (fourth icon) and click on it.
- A new bulk update pop-up icon will open where you need to fill out the following information:
- Company
- Update Type
- Leave Type
- CSV File Upload
- Suppose it is your first time uploading; download the CSV file from the hyperlink.
- Open the file in an editor and update it with your data while following the format.
- Attach the updated file and click Upload.
Viewing employee profile
- From the dashboard, click the employee icon (the first icon) located at the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- A new table with a list of employees will appear. Click on the profile of any employee.
- It will redirect you to the employee’s profile page with all its available information.
Geolocation
The geolocation functionality in the employee module of the payroll software allows you to track and manage the location-based information of employees. This provides valuable insights into employee whereabouts and facilitates efficient management of geographically dispersed teams.
To toggle this feature on and off, follow these steps:
- From the dashboard, click the employee icon (the first icon) located at the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- A new table with a list of employees will appear. Click on the profile of any employee.
- It will redirect you to the employee’s profile page with all its available information.
- From the left sidebar of the employee profile, click on Geolocation.
- Toggle the option on or off. Once turned on, this will open a map and the rows for the following:
- Location Name
- Map Coordinates
- Radius
- Fill out all the necessary fields and click Save.
